Whenever we can, we avoid the use of plastic. We use recyclable materials such as cardboard and water activiated tape. Our mailers are 100% compostable or can be reused and instead of plastic for individual items, we use compostable poop bags made from cornstarch. Use these on your next walk!

Barkin' collars, leashes and bandanas can get wet but are not waterproof. Please be aware the nylon we use is dyed fabric and prolonged exposure to water could result in some colour bleeding and/or wear and tear to your product. To keep the gear looking its best we recommend removing the collars while on swimming days. 

We suggest hand cleaning the gear with a wet cloth or toothbrush and regular detergent. For a more thorough clean you can machine wash in cold water and air dry. we recommend placing your Barkin' gear in a laundry net. Please note that prolonged exposure to water can over time cause some wear to your gear.

The straps and the belt are made of nylon and can be hand-washed or spot cleaned. The pouch base is made of silicone and is stain-proof. It is made of food grade silicone and can be hand-washed with dish soap.

The nylon we use is tightly woven and very strong, making it difficult to tear. That said, dogs have very strong teeth so just like most fabrics and textiles, our nylon may not withstand chewers.

Unfortunately we can not accept returns of chewed gear. While our materials are sturdy, current Barkin' products are not meant to be chewed or carried in the dog’s mouth. 

Purchasing from our online store is safe and secure. Our website is hosted by Shopify and uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL), an encryption that ensures safe internet transmission of your personal information. Our payments are processed through Shopify. We do not store your credit card details nor do we share your personally identifiable information with any third party.
